Kaiden Can Dance

I was feeding Kaiden dinner tonight and while trying to get him to open his mouth (because he can be stubborn sometimes) I was chanting "Go Kaiden, Go Kaiden" and well the little cutie started shaking his booty in the high chair. So after he was done eating I wanted to see if he would do it again and well this is the result. Enjoy the video, I am still laughing at it!

Kaiden Pulls Up!!

My baby boy is growing up!! Some time last week, we put Kaiden down for a nap in his crib and when Taylor heard him making noises she went to check on him and came running out of his room saying that he had pulled up. Me being the skeptic that I am, didn't believe her and thought that she had stood him up when she saw that he was awake. So later that day we set up the video camera in his room and let him play in his crib. He played in his crib for almost 45 minutes with no attempt to pull up. So needless to say I am really not believing Taylor now. So a couple of days later when I was home with the kids I put Kaiden in his crib to play while I did some cleaning and I set the video camera up just in case. Well I heard a happy squeal from his room like 5 minutes after I left and went running and he was standing in his crib. I was so excited as you can hear on the video and of course Taylor made me apologize to her for not believing her the first time. So my little boy is growing up and soon he will be crawling and walking all over the place. It seems like Kaiden was born just yesterday and now he is pulling up and rolling all over the place. Time sure flies when you're having fun!!

Kaiden is 6 months old!!

Kaiden went for his 6 month check up today!! I can’t believe he is 6 months old already. He weighed in at 17lbs 10oz and 25 ¼ in long. He is in the 51^st percentile for his weight and unfortunately only the 11^th percentile for his height. I guess I just have to face the fact that because Matt and I are short, our children will be as well. He is growing and developing right on track and we can’t wait until he figures out this whole crawling thing!! Look out world another Griffith will be Mobile soon.

A zoofull of fun!!

To celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary, Matt and I took the kids to the Jacksonville zoo. It was a really hot day but the kids had a lot of fun. We saw all kinds of animals and Rianna knew what the Tapir and the Capybara was without being told (Thanks Diego). Rianna's favorite parts of the zoo were the giraffes and the stingrays. Taylor really enjoyed the stingrays as well. My favorite part was watching Rianna's face light up when she saw a neat animal and that Kaiden was an angel and didn't fuss at all.

Kaiden Sitting up

Kaiden started sitting up a little over a week ago and at first he only sat up for a minute or two before toppling over but now he can sit up for like half an hour. He loves sitting up and playing with his toes. Kaiden is such a big boy, I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Another Year older!!

Well I turned another year older on Saturday and however many of you know that my day was not the best day, I was able to salvage it at the end and had a pretty good time at my party. We just did a small family BBQ at my parents house and enjoyed each others company and watching the kids run around. Thank you everyone for a nice evening, especially my hunny Matthew who cooked an amazing dinner.

Kaiden loves taking a bath. He loves to splash and laugh and smile!!! It makes it so much easier to bathe a child when they actually enjoy it.
